Our EasyGate speedgates now feature a new MLu10 smart processor that allows authorised facility staff to monitor and control them from building management system software.

Entrance Control General Manager Michael Bystram says the new processor enables high level integration between the EasyGates and building management system at a facility, allowing staff to view the gates’ status and resolve any issues if they arise.

If a lane is obstructed due to an obstacle, for example, a signal will be sent to the building management system, enabling staff to identify and resolve the problem.

“Building management systems are becoming a cornerstone of today’s smart buildings,” Bystram says.

“This technology plays an important role in ensuring EasyGates remain at the cutting edge and continue to be the gates of choice for premium Australian and New Zealand facilities.”

Another benefit of the new smart processor is that it can operate wirelessly, simplifying installation and removing the need for as much cabling. Each gate can be setup as a network device with a unique IP, communicating wirelessly with a building management system using TCP protocol.

The MLu10 processor comes standard with all new EasyGates installed in Australia and New Zealand.
