29 Sep EasyGate SPT speedgates stylishly complement iconic Parramatta Landmark
Landmark business hub 32 Smith is a key part of the City of Parramatta’s vision to transform its CBD into a world-class commercial centre. Sleek EasyGate SPT security gates were chosen a year ago as the perfect match to the state-of-the-art design at the premium office building.
Located in the ground floor main reception area, the EasyGate SPT speedgates feature a striking Dulux Electro® Dark Bronze flat finish that complements the building’s interior metal work and cements the modern aesthetic. Integrated WingLights offer a vibrant contrast as they guide guests through by changing colour, helping to ensure a swift, secure flow of authorised people.
The new 1,200 mm wide speedgates exclusively welcome staff and visitors to the high-rise office levels – with lower levels maintaining individual security arrangements.
Their impressive aesthetics and solid security credentials are backed up by cutting edge technology – including built-in infra-red sensors that target and exclude any tailgaters who might try to enter the building behind an authorised staff member or visitor.
Five customisable safety and security options are available, making every installation unique and bespoke. Safety takes priority with a dedicated sensor array to prevent gates closing if a user is in the lane.
EasyGate SPT systems can intelligently communicate with other on-site access control systems; at 32 Smith Street the visitor experience is made easier thanks to built-in Otis destination lift control display panels that allocate lifts to visitors as to ensure a seamless and efficient journey. Remote diagnostics is a useful feature that allows for easy off-site identification and management of issues.
Centaman Entrance Control General Manager Michael Bystram says bespoke security solutions are important and necessary elements of prestige commercial buildings and can be easily tailored to complement individual design aesthetics.
32 Smith features an outstanding commitment to sustainability and is certified as a six star Green Star design by the Green Building Council of Australia. The building was designed to minimise energy and water consumption and has a variety of other sustainable design features including a raised terrace with river views and a tree covered sky deck.
High profile businesses occupying the 27-floor building include international insurance and reinsurance expert QBE Insurance.
