06 May EasyGate SPT accessorises fashion powerhouse’s signature new Sydney HQ
Global fashion brand White Fox chose custom-white EasyGate SPT speedstiles with pink wing lights to secure its statement $70M Sydney headquarters and slay with a stand-out on-brand welcome.
The stunningly successful Gen Z fashion favourite has been on a white-hot streak since it was founded in 2013, expertly leveraging influencer-driven marketing and celebrity endorsement to grow its revenue and social-media following exponentially.
Its new five-storey home base greets guests with Instagram-worthy first impressions offered by two lanes of bespoke speedstiles with 1,800mm-high barriers to safeguard entry from the car park, while another pair protect the reception area with 1,200mm-high barriers. The pink wing lights wave authorised entrants through with a contrasting flourish of colour.
Entrance Control General Manager Michael Bystram said modern organisations expect security which mirrors their brand’s style rather than old-fashioned style standards.
“White Fox built its empire by leveraging its iconic brand identity and so our installation had to support its aesthetic personality while delivering solid security. The speedstiles’ custom finish with their vivacious wing lights demonstrates this approach perfectly.”
Facial recognition makes access easier and friendlier
Facial recognition technology embedded at both entry points to the boutique office identifies and welcomes authorised entrants, without them having to fumble through bags or pockets to find access cards, while avoiding security issues associated with losing them.
The biometric system keeps people flowing through smoothly at peak throughput times with accurate and almost instant facial recognition, while its contactless approach aligns perfectly with White Fox’s tech-savvy culture.
It integrates seamlessly with EasyGate SPT’s state-of-the-art technology, featuring ultra-reliable brushless Magnetic Direct Drive motors and sophisticated sensor arrays that work together to ensure security and safety for users, and at the same time preventing tailgating.
Bystram said facial recognition was a paradigm shift in how people interact with entrance control.
“Facial recognition systems identify you as you approach and grant access automatically – making your entrance that little bit friendlier. It’s almost like the building knows you and the method is faster, more convenient and just as secure as traditional means.”
Style and substance
White Fox’s lavish headquarters reflects the brand’s devotion to creativity, which has led it to grow from a 2013 eBay retail operation operated out of a garage, to a global online fashion force with more than 2.8M Instagram followers and showrooms in Sydney and Los Angeles.
The 10,761 square-metre uber-modern complex boasts not only a gym, sauna, Pilates studio, bar and café, but also a pick-and-mix selection with items voted for by staff, and to cap it off, an indoor slide and ball pit – all in either pink or white. The project has been brought to life in its full splendour by White Fox’s design and construction partner PMG.
Bystram said it was a pleasure crafting a unique entrance control solution to deliver a unified brand aesthetic that was unmistakably White Fox.
“Creative businesses invest in cultivating distinctive workplace cultures that fuel innovation and reflect their vision. Security solutions need to safeguard places and their people without compromising the brand experience employees and visitors expect.”
