A touch of class: the EasyGates securing Europe’s landmark buildings

Entrance Control’s EasyGate security control systems aren’t just an Australian and New Zealand phenomenon. The same gates can be found all over the globe in some of the highest profile buildings you can imagine.

This month we’ve put together a roundup of five of the most visually stunning EasyGate installations in Europe. From England and Slovakia to Germany and the Czech Republic, these are some of our top picks.

EasyGate SPT at The Bard, in England

EasyGate SPT at The Bard in London

The Bard is a premium office space in a vibrant mixed-use building in Shoreditch, East London. Named after William Shakespeare, after experts from the Museum of London Archaeology found remains of the great man’s original O Stage and two exterior walls on the site, the space is a popular spot for those involved in the creative and technology industries.
Office workers and visitors to The Bard are greeted by EasyGate SPT speedgates, sporting tempered glass wings on pedestals featuring a black stainless steel RAL finish that complements the reception area’s brassy-toned wall panelling.

These security gates feature dual tempered glass wing barriers, to maintain a spacious feel and comfortable passage for users, along with a Magnetic Direct Drive (MDD) motor for quiet operation. A touch button panel was included to allow remote access of the gates, if needed, and a gravity-based card collector is incorporated into the pedestals to ensure visitors leave their access cards behind when departing.

EasyGate SG, Dominion Tower, Russia

EasyGate SG gates at Dominion Tower in Moscow, Russia.

Dominion Tower is a seven-storey office building in Moscow catering for startup companies in the city’s growing IT and creative sectors. Four lanes of EasyGate SG were installed in the reception area, featuring black stainless steel, black Corian cladding, and staggered using offset floor plates to match the vision of designer Zaha Hadid Architects.

The striking building – home to Russia’s IT and creative sectors – features a monochrome black and white design with unevenly stacked white floor slabs creating irregular protrusions, so the entrance control solution was tailored to perfectly complement it.

Key features of the EasyGate SG speedgates installed at the building include waist-height bi-directional glass barriers and advanced infrared (IR) sensors to ensure user safety and prevent tailgaters.
