The various turnstile options can be integrated with a variety of different mechanisms for authorising members, such as bar code, RFID, Biometric, manual override. This will allow valid members to self scan themselves in to the facility freeing up the reception team to deal guests and reservations.

Tripod Turnstiles
Available either in a compact mechanical variant or a larger motorised version Centurion TriPod turnstiles offer the most cost effective solution to access control. Easily recognisable to all users tripod turnstile provide a reliable way of controlling who comes in to the facility.
Centurion TriPods can be twinned with matching Centurion SwingGates or PushGates to allow for disabled access. Additionally the gates can be set up to allow for up to a 1800 mm opening to facilitate bringing deliveries and moving sports equipments etc.
Optical Turnstiles
Optical turnstiles replace the need for an obtrusive physical barrier by utilising active infra-red beams to create an invisible electronic field between two pedestals, monitoring the passage of every individual entering and leaving a facility. They offer a similar level of security to a 1/2 height turnstile and are designed to alert the reception team to unauthorised entry attempts by triggering an audible alarm whilst also controlling other security measures such as CCTV systems.
Optical turnstiles are all about fast, easy throughput with an “open design” look with no barriers making entry with sports bags much easier. The lack of a barrier also makes them safer as there are no barriers for people to accidentally walk in to whilst also being an ideal solution for wheelchair access as no separate passgate is required. Optical turnstiles are ideal for well managed facilities that want security but don’t want to compromise on style.
Speedgates
By combining the best of optical & physical barrier technology, speedgates are the very latest in high tech entrance control systems. The fast acting barriers are obvious physical deterrents and the state of the art optical technology is designed to detect and deter tailgaters. The motorised ’no contact’ barriers provide an open lane for users to ensure easy passage even with sports bags, briefcases or luggage.
Speedgates provide an elegant and contemporary look with glass barriers that keep the atmosphere open and inviting and the enclosures can be finished in a variety of different materials making them the ideal choice for the modern building where a high speed control system is required to provide a secure environment whilst blending in with the building fabric.
EntryGates
The Centurion EntryGate is an elegant and subtle entrance gate that is ideal when security and design are of equal importance. The EntryGate provides a highly effective means of controlling access in and out of any facility. The Centurion EntryGate combines a reliable mechanism with a choice of barrier designs making it ideal for applications such as reception areas in office buildings and leisure clubs as well as museum, transport and stadia applications. Most membership systems allow you to control who can gain access at which doors and when, but once a door is open any number of people can pass through it without being authorised. Following an authorised user through a door is known as tailgating and it is very easy to do. We have all been told that it is good manners to hold doors open for other people and more often than not good manners win over the good security practice of closing the door firmly behind you to stop someone else coming in.
